Community Language School (CLS) Online Language Enrichment Programs_Summer 2020

May 18-August 15, 2020

Program Fee: $30-$40

Preschoolers, Grades K-12 and adults

Since 2002, the language departments at Michigan State University have offered community-based language and culture outreach programs on campus and at area schools. Our programming has expanded over the years to include a variety of programs for K-12 students as well as professional development opportunities for K-16 teachers and language classes for adults. In 2008, we officially launched the Community Language School (CLS) as part of the Center for Language Teaching Advancement (CeLTA). All programs are organized and conducted by MSU faculty members, graduate students, advanced undergraduate students, and community members.

We are excited to offer new online language programming to replace our on-campus summer camps. Classes will be delivered through live online sessions with an emphasis on developing communication skills in the target language.
